Who We Are North Adams Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 119-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. We’re located in an established neighborhood in a lovely area of North Adams, less than a mile from the center of town. We’re just a couple of minutes from restaurants, shops, and MASS MoCA (the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art). We’re also conveniently close to southern Vermont.
We’ve been caring for people in the North Adams area since 1981, providing top-quality, personalized rehabilitation, nursing, and long-term care in a warm, homelike setting.
We’re locally run and staffed by caring and attentive North Adams-area healthcare professionals. And we’re backed by Berkshire Healthcare, one of the largest, nonprofit, long-term care providers in Massachusetts. That gives us a tremendous advantage: access to an extensive network of top healthcare professionals and other resources to support our programs and services.
Our Mission North Adams Commons and Berkshire Healthcare share the same mission:
Mission Statement We are a not-for-profit, consumer-centered organization committed to fulfilling the health and residential needs of the population in the communities we serve.
Vision Statement Our exceptional customer experiences and clinical quality will cause residents, families, employees, providers, and community members to always prefer us.
Core Values Compassion, integrity, teamwork, excellence and stewardship.
